Instructions
Stovetop: Bring 2/3 cup water to a boil. Add oats, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Boiling Water: Place oats in a heatproof bowl and add 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir, cover and let stand for 3-5 minutes, until water is absorbed. Place oats in a microwave-safe bowl and add 1/2 cup water. Stir, cover and microwave on high for 1-1:30 minutes, until water is absorbed. Let stand for 1 minute. Stir well before eating. Tried the apple cinnamon instant oatmeal and I'm definitely a new fan. I usually make my own oatmeal with Bob's, naturally:-) Had the opportunity to try the instant and I have to say I like it. Most commercial instant oats are way too sweet for me but Bob's is just right. Little chunks of apple and a gentle amount of cinnamon and sugar. Nothing overpowering. Just right. Goldilocks would approve. I mixed it with boiling water and let it sit. Really doesn't get any easier than that. I'm trying the others too.
