Basic Cooking Instructions Stovetop: Bring water and salt to a boil. Slowly whisk in cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, whisking frequently, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes. ServingsCerealWaterSalt1 Serving1/4 cup3/4 cuppinch2 Servings1/2 cup1 1/2 cups1/8 tsp3 Servings3/4 cup2 1/4 cups1/4 tsp4 Servings1 cup3 cups1/4 tspMicrowave: Combine 1/4 cup cereal, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until water is fully absorbed. Let stand for 2 minutes. ~ Makes 1 serving. Slow Cooker: Combine 4 cups water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 cup cereal in a slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The taste of my childhood
As I write this review, the weather in Japan is getting cooler day by day, and I crave nothing more than a bowl of Bob's Red Mill anything… anything hot that is! Their Creamy Wheat takes me back to when I was growing up. Lumpy and hot Cream of Wheat, with a dash of salt, pad of butter and generous sprinkle of brown sugar! That was fall and winter breakfast. Bob's Red Mill created an American classic, and a quality one at that. Back in the day, one would just open the box and pour; no plastic liner, it would just come straight out of the box.

Breakfast anyone?
Bob's Red Mill creamy wheat hot cereal is my morning comfort food, especially on a cold morning. I like it with brown sugar and milk to start my day off . It's also much less expensive than the well-known brand. You can count on Bob's Red Mill for a quality product!
