Bluey Cupcake Cake

These cupcakes were really good. We got the mixed chocolate and vanilla and buttercream frosting. The frosting on this particular cake didn't have any dye outside of the edible printed part on top, which didn't taste like anything but sugar, so it didn't have the weird taste that sometimes comes with colored frosting. The cake was cute for a 2 year old's party, and the price was fantastic. That said, it looks like it's from a supermarket. The layer cakes from Walmart look as good as a local baker's, but these and the sheet cakes have more of a mass-produced feel, which is fine, just want to point out for anyone that wants something more customized. For a 2 year old's birthday party during the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, this more than did the job, was so much more easy to pass out cupcakes than cut layers. I'm always surprised by how good their cakes and cupcakes taste, and always happy that I can order a cake a few days in advance online, without talking to anyone or having communication errors on what the cake says, and my husband or I can pick up the day before the party without issues. The kids were elated about the Bluey and Bingo cake. We kept the little flossing Bingo and Bluey figures and they are floating around the house occasionally played with. The Muffin/socks figure were cardboard on toothpicks if I remember correctly.

I was in search of a cake for my 2 year old granddaughters birthday with the tv characters that she loves. I was able to find a cake made from the cupcakes, which is perfect for a houseful of little kids. Walmart had it and I was able to make choices for the cake flavor, the icing and the printing prior to going to the store. I prepaid for it online and picked it up on the day I needed it. This was the second cake of cupcakes I've purchased from Walmart online and when I need another one I won't hesitate to order it from Walmart again.
