I have tried them all, ear buds, over the ear, around the neck etc etc. I have used this brand for 20years, they have improved it nicely and it is always the go to headset for me. Value, price, quality, long battery life, sound and transmitter quality and distance from cell phone is great. I use in the car, walking about and in the truck. It cancells or does not pickup the ambient noice on this front mike. I end up damaging them one way or another and just get another. Wm
