Very good for those who are deficient in D3. K2 is needed to absorb D3. D3 is a hormone that is fat soluble and should be taken with a healthy fat. Levels should be well above 30 and more like 90. If pregnant a lower dosage of 2000 IU should be taken.

Good source of D3
As we enter the dark months of the year it is important to supplement with our steroid hormone D. It is not a vitamin. It is involved in just about every function of the body, in every cell. Did you know that the number 1 nutrient missing in all cancer patients is D? Whether one avoids sun or not, once we get to winter our levels of D will start quickly decreasing. Bluebonnet is my favourite make - their products are really good quality. The capsules are a good size and have no aftertaste. The bottle is large and should last a while. The best thing is the dose - 5000 IU is good.
