Son enjoyed the different sound he could make and loved dancing to the music. The headphones don't make any noise or light up so he got frustrated with them but enjoyed the beat beads on the top. I love the fact that it is small enough for traveling can sit perfectly in his lap in his carseat. It is very cute and easy to use. It has 3 settings demo, low volume, and high volume. No off switch. But as long as it is stored where buttons aren't pushed it will not go off. Uses 3x AAA batteries. I have received this item from Infantino to facilitate my review.
