Grohe Retro-Fit 26123001 210 Shower System, 1.75 gpm in Grohe Chrome

Not only is this a beautiful shower system, it is well made and easy to use. The 1.75gpm is plenty strong enough and saving water as well. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking at the retrofit shower kits for a while, wanting to upgrade from the builder standard shower to have an overhead rain head shower. Now that I've installed the retrofit kit I'm really impressed, it elevates the shower experience without plumbing and looks great in my shower. I am 6'7" and this design allows me to fit under the rain head. I like that this shower kit allows me to reduce the water volume while soaping up or for the times I just want to enjoy the warmth of the water while using less. The hand held shower also has great features for a gentle rinse up to a high pressure blast, great for getting hair really well rinsed. I've purchased Grohe products before and gave always been impressed with the build quality and the quality of the starlight chrome finish. Next to other bathroom fixtures this finish really shines! I had some difficulties during install but that was really a result of the tiler's work, not a fault of this product. I did have to open up the back of the shower wall to add a support, but far less work than otherwise would be needed for the final result.
