Perfect for what I do

Went from my second set of asterisks. Don’t do moto like I used to so wanted something with protection and more comfort. Found it with these..had to go xxl, glad I did. First time riding with them..a bit shorter than asterisks so the feeling is different, like they aren’t up as hig on thigh but once lined u, rode all day in desert and am happy with the decision as far as comfort. Lays wore knee braces while racing moto for prevention , not a past injury. So for what I do these days in my mid 40’s, they’re perfect.

6400 Knee Braces

Great fit, comfortable and great protection, They work great for me and my knees have had plenty of injury's I have owned higher cost Knee braces that my knees could not handle the angle and the more stress they put on them. The 6400 are great for me to keep me sound and completive !

Much more supportive than a knee guard, but not a full-blown knee brace

I've been wearing the Alpinestars SX01 knee guards for a couple years, but after a couple fast dabs, I felt it was time to upgrade to a proper set of knee braces. However, after trying on the Leatt C Frame, Leatt Z Frame, Mobius X8, and Alpinestars Fluid Pro, I learned that I am ever so slightly bow legged and struggled to get any of them to fit comfortably. I finally stumbled upon these and they did the trick. They are essentially Shock Doctor's 875 knee brace with a patella guard. They seem to stabilize the knee enough to deter twisting, but they don't offer nearly the same hyperextension support as the aforementioned braces I tried. The sleeve design is very comfortable, more a like a traditional athletic knee brace, but I foresee them being very hot in the summer. All in all, they are a significant upgrade from a knee guard, but I still wouldn't qualify them as a full-blown knee brace. Also - if you're in between sizes, go a size up.
