The Black+Decker Handiprep Express is so easy to clean most parts can be washed in the dishwasher. Storage of the processor is done with a storage base that allows each attachment to be locked into place The Handiprep Express is big enough to handle you next big party but small enough to store on your counter for daily use.I was impressed with the power and ease it processed a variety of foods.I use my Handiprep Express almost daily since it arrived and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a easy to use,easy to clean,easy to store and the price is easy on the budget... It does not tell you in the instructions but when removing the top of the processor apply downward pressure lightly to get it to turn and release.

1st I wanted to state that this would be a great gift for newlyweds or anyone started out on their own because it has just about anything you'll need. Including the items listed above they also include a Recipe booklet with about 25 or more recipes, an Instruction Booklet which also has a diagram that states what each item is, and a small Quick Start Guide. One handy thing that is nice to have is the Compact Storage Base to store all the items (except for the Food Processor) and it has a place to put the metal plug part. Plus the Food Processor and the Mini Chopper have non-slip removable bases. I used the Immersion Blender & the Measuring Jar to mix my protein drink. I found out very quickly how much suction this blender has and I was raising the blender & just pulsing. Because of this power, I am certain the food processor is going to work very well and plan to use it to chop the carrots tomorrow. And then I'll need to make mashed cauliflower – the ideas are endless! Also I used the mini chopper to chop green onions that I wanted to freeze and have ready to add to various dishes. I found out that just pulsing a few times was all that was needed and got the pieces much smaller than I usually get when I chop with a knife therefore I will definitely use this mini chopper for green onions and other small quantities of produce and nuts I want to chop. (picture attached) The only con: I wish they had created an area to wrap the electric cord around the storage base but right now I'm just wrapping it around the motor base & putting the metal plug into the 2 holes provided on the base.
