Michelin® safety shoes are made with high quality rubber outsoles combining both excellent slip resistant and wear qualities.A key feature of the XHY662 Work Boot is its Waterproof construction. It combines a waterproof inner layer with the upper providing a barrier that helps keep water out and feet dry.A key comfort feature of the XHY662 is its contoured removable orthotic TPU insole that is excellent for those seeking arch support. The polyurethane material used in its insole is known for its cushioning while not bottoming out features. The rigid TPU material helps provide underfoot support in the arch area.In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413 Impact & Compression standards, Michelin® stock # XHY662 work boot also complies with ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard standards. This type of work boot is made with insulating bottoms providing secondary electrical hazard protection to those areas dealing with open circuits under dry conditions, but also can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe work boots.

Very comfortable work boot
This is my fourth Michelin set of boots and my second pair of this specific model. My previous pair I'm finishing off until January 1st which will make a full two years in one set of boots at work. I average 45 hours a week in work boots in a factory setting. I've been working in factories as a maintenance technician for 13 years almost and this is by far the most comfortable pair of boots I've worn. Also the fact they lasted 2 years speaks for itself. They have good arch support. Soft soles and good traction on oily floors.

Perfect boots for injured feet
I'm on my feet all day pushing dumpsters, after foot surgery for bone spurs and also having plantar fascitis, footwear is so important. Look no further, these boots have 0 break in period, so comfortable right out of the box. Ultra lightweight so 11 hour days don't over heat your feet, great support so the arches aren't barking either. After trying every brand imaginable over a 16 year career, I'll always be wearing these until i retire.
