This installation was a little confusing at first because the directions that come with this "universal" kit are a little vague because there are so many applications. Once you figure out which pcs you are going to use it kind of just falls together. It works like a charm. Take your time and dry fit everything a few times so you get the placement exactly where you want it before you start cutting or drilling. The handle is pretty short so you may want to order an extension right away. It looks great and functions awesome.

I just finished up the installation of this kit on a 1970 Chevy c10. The column shifter was totally shot and made the truck undriveable. I had this kit installed in about 2-3 hours. There’s a lot of fine tuning and getting the adjustments just right. For my application I did have to modify the shifter handle and weld an extension on. The kit isn’t perfect but if you’re willing to spend some time making it work it’s really worth it.
