It was pretty easy to assemble other than one bolt had too much paint on it and was hard to get started. I did go to Blackstone and watch their video on how to season it and had questionable results. Its still new and I'm learning more about how it cooks. I love the attached lid as it keeps wind away and covers it after cooking.

The assembly was easy. It is heavy and not flimsy. Follow instructions to season the griddle. The 36" seemed like overkill and is quite expensive. The 28" is just a little smaller and all that you will use unless you are cooking for a huge crowd. I like the griddle a lot more than I thought and use it a lot more than I thought. Delivery was excellent.
