BlackHawk Hiscend-H HA11 All Terrain LT31X10.50R15 109S C Light Truck Tire

I bought a 1993 Ford Bronco as a project truck. This size, 31x10.50-15, was what was on the truck but they were old and worthless, so I found these Blackhawk tires at a GREAT price on Walmart.com. They were much less than the national brands pushed by the big box tire stores. Since I'm doing this project truck on a budget, I thought I would give them a try. Since I have Michelin tires on all my other vehicles, I was curious..... The construction is far better than many street tires, that often have one or two sidewall plies, one or two belts and little more. These tires have two polyester sidewall plies, plus two steel belts, two polyester belts and one nylon belt. The tires balanced perfectly, and for a 30-year old truck, they drive with NO vibration or any feel of unstable tracking. Most surprising was the noise.....there isn't any! Seriously, I have driven several hundred miles on blacktop and concrete roads with all windows down on the truck. MANY times, the new or nearly new vehicles around me had MORE tire noise coming into my truck than the Blackhawk tires on my truck. While the tires DO NOT have a mileage warranty (Blackhawk, as of Nov. 2023 does not have mileage warranties on light truck, or LT tires) I was impressed with their 16/32" tread depth. I've seen new off-road tires with as little as 11/32" of tread, so these tires should be good for at least 40,000 miles before needing replacement. BOTTOM LINE: WIth record inflation driving many light truck off-road tire prices well over $200, even up to $250-300, these tires may be the buy of the year. Yes, they are made in Vietnam, but I've become skeptical of many 'American' brands (in name only) that are also now made overseas, but seem to still have VERY high prices. I recommend buying the tires and getting the Walmart Road Hazard Warranty. Since no local stores in South Texas currently stock Blackhawk tires, if there is a problem, they should be covered by Walmart and replaced through Walmanrt.com.
