The Storm375 is engineered for epics in all conditions, featuring a robust waterproof/dustproof housing and 375 lumens of bright light. With a new, compact body, the Storm375 is more ergonomic, and the updated user interface includes a secondary switch for easy mode selection. In addition, the updated optical efficiency not only provides brighter light, but also saves battery life that you can now easily track with a six-setting, three-LED battery meter. I purchased two of these. One for me and one for my girlfriend. Her and I have been trail running for years, but always in the daytime. We heard about a trail race at night where headlamps were required. I did some research through various running sites and blogs and the name Black Diamond came up frequently. We wanted a bright light that was also going to do well in wet conditions. The race course is well known for knee deep and waist deep water crossings. I was thoroughly impressed with these lights. I can honestly say that our head lamps were exceptionally bright compared to the other runners I came across on course. They were also comfortable once we found the right adjustment for our personal taste. We LOVED running the trails at night and I believe these lights played a huge part in making our debut night run so enjoyable. We are looking forward to many more night runs with Black Diamond!

The best headlamp I own!
I got my first storm375 more than a year ago. I use it for everything from working on my car to multipitch ice climbing on alpine start days. To run it at full power you will be changing the batteries after about 8-12 hours of use, which is worth it to me when I can see my climbing partner 40 meters away on a climb during a blizzard. Overall it works great: the functions are simple to control, the battery lasts quite well when used on lower settings and the lock mode keeps it from switching on in my bag much better than other similar headlamps I've used. The only thing that can be improved is the buckle doesn't fit the elastic as tightly as it could, and therefore the strap comes loose periodically when I'm just wearing the headlamp without a hat/helmet.
