This was amazing! I didn't make traditional beef birria because we don't eat beef, but I put 3 packets in with a 3 lb pork tenderloin pressure cooked for about 40 mins let it natural release. We've been paying for birria ramen from a food truck for $12 a bowl. I can make probably 8 bowls for $30 so happy to find this!!

I love authentic birria, but it takes a long time, and is quite expensive. I was looking for a cheaper, quicker option. I mixed the beef stock with the packet, put about a quarter cup in with my ground turkey, let that sit for a bit. Added more water to 'consome' with onion and cilantro. I was very surprised at how good this was, definitely buying it often and will thoroughly enjoy the faux but very tasty 'birria' a couple times a month.
