Stove top1. Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart nonstick sauce pan. Add 3 tablespoons water.2. Cook covered over medium heat for 11 to 12 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.3. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes. Sauce will thicken as it cools. Stir well and serve.For microwave ovens less than 800 watts please use stove top instructions. Microwave instructions1. Place frozen, unopened bag this side up, laying flat in microwave. Do not pierce bag. For microwave with a metal rack, remove rack.2. Microwave on high for the recommended cook time based on your microwave wattage. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard.3. Let stand for 1?2 minutes after cooking. Carefully handle bag at corners marked with the red ovals and remove from microwave with two hands. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir and enjoy!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this item and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and ease, as well as the serving portion of the potatoes. Steaming them in the bag with the butter was absolutely perfect, the potatoes were a little soft but not overly cooked, the chive butter is the perfect add on and works well with the potatoes. The serving size right out of the bag was for one person. I did add a little bit of garlic salt to add some more flavor to the dish. Definitely will buy and enjoy again.

Good tasting potatoes
Sometimes I don't feel like eating a whole meal. I tried just these and they tasted good all by themselves. They are kept in the freezer and were quick to steam in the microwave in the package provided. That makes them very easy to prepare and you can even use them in scrambled eggs or other food.
