Great Design, Concern with Durbaility

This tent is absolutely amazing and light for the amount of space and features (i.e., pockets inside the tent, vestibule/porch space). I went camping overnight the day after receiving the shipment. I set up the tent on an available tent pad and was unable to use the straight pegs that come with the tent. Additionally, some of the ropes to tie the rainfly were not long enough and I did not have anything in the surroundings close enough to tie them to. Therefore, the rainfly was mostly touching the tent. IT rained on and off that night and when I woke up, the rain had soaked through some parts of the tent presenting as droplets on three of the inside of the tent wall sides and a small puddle in one corner. My friend and I stayed dry as well as most of our stuff despite this. Additionally, the tent bag has small tears in it after the single use. The material is extremely thin making the tent very light which is great, but the caveat is that it is not very strong and durable. That being said, having another more durable tent bag or another bag to put the tent and tent bag in.

Good weight, nice overhead storage, but maybe too delicate

We went canoe tripping for 7 days with our new tent. First impression was that the tent seemed delicate compared to the MEC Wanderer which we have used for years - so we treated the Big A more gently. It set up easily and kept out the rain. However, on the first night the interior orange loop used to open one door of the fly broke off. Since this door is often opened during the night, kinda frustrating. I like the tent strips which are visible at night. Overhead bins are very handy. We bought the Long version and the extra space was worth it. The dirt daggers didn't always work well - either loop would slip off or stake bent. Luckily we brought older stronger pegs with us - I wouldn't recommend tripping with just these little dirt daggers. How exactly are these dirt dagger supposed to work? This is my first experience with B Agnes (I bought a BA chair as well this year). I understand why Big Agnes is a popular brand, but given the price, I didn't expect to have problem with the zipper loop right away.
