For my dear husband's birthday, I made this lower sugar yellow cake in a 9x13 pan. I topped it with a thick layer of whipped topping, and covered that with halved, fresh strawberries. The cake tasted better than a full-sugar cake. It had a very rich and buttery flavor. My husband actually said "this is a winner!" He ate 3 huge servings of it! I could only have one piece on my diet, but was able to have a "much larger piece" due it having less sugar. Delicious!
