Good product recommended

I purchased these chia seeds because I heard they were good for your body. I've been using them for a while now. all the recommendations say pour hot water over them. never pour hot water over them. warm water will do fine. let them soak for about 15 to 20 minutes. they will gelatinize and sustain your hunger

Very good chia

I do not use probiotics — I'm a prebiotics kind of person — but I'm sure these chia seeds would be great in yogurt too. I add them to my smoothies every single day for a healthy boost. From the soil to my smoothie, it's nice to know I'm getting nutrition rooted in the earth. And here's a tip: you don't need to soak them first, unless you like pudding glop! If you add them straight into the liquid in the blender, by the time you're ready to drink, they're already thickening. I like that I have a hard container, to refill, too! They're so tiny that you'd think no tools are needed, but I went all out and bought a set of special chia slicers just to keep my prep game strong. My chia slicers have yet to slice a single seed, but it looks very official on the counter. Five stars for taste, texture, and the laughs I get imagining my chia slicer hard at work!

PSA. Public Service Announcement!!!! This product is extremely nice quality. This is about chia seeds in general. Don't believe all the comments amd posts where they say only soak 5 mins or 30 mins. You must think about soaking o v e r n i g h t. If you drink or eat your chia seeds in the evening then start soaking them in the morning. Sure you can swallow them after not soaking them that long, but what happens is as they continue to soak approximately 12% of their weight in water, after you swallow it they will continue to soak up and what they will use is your internal moisture. this is the moisture you need for digestion. I know of someone who went to the hospital because they didn't feel like soaking it for 30 minutes so they only soaked it for like 5 minutes. but when they came out of surgery because of it, the surgeon said that actually the Chia has been balling up in their system for the whole past year - upon viewing during the surgery, they said it wasn't just from the day before but had been gathering in balling up for the past year and this person had been taking it for a year. but they had only been soaking it for like 30 minutes. so one wants to soak it overnight... one person took it dry and then chased water with it and ended up in the hospital over the blockage and they ended up surviving. so chia seeds have a beautiful reputation for health purposes but just make sure you take it wisely.
