Better Homes & Gardens - Oil Rubbed Bronze Free-Standing Toilet Paper Holder

This toilet paper holder is surprisingly sturdy. I have had a few since moving into my home and they all seem to fall apart or get rusty. This one seems to be coated with something that will prevent rusting and it's very well built. I don't get the feeling that the holder bar itself will get loose and fall off. The oil rubbed coating is dark and looks to be black, but my husband and I debate this, as he says it looks to be a very dark brown. This is not a fancy toilet paper roller that can store multiple rolls. It holds a single roll and can be used with mega or jumbo sized rolls. Pictured is the holder with a mega roll. It doesn't delay the movement of the roller at all. Some holders cannot handle the larger rolls, but this one does not, which I appreciate. The holder itself does secure the roll of paper and does not allow it to easily slip off. It is about 22 inches tall and is free standing, meaning it doesn't attach to the wall. This is a nice paper holder and I would recommend it to anyone, but perhaps especially people with more moisture in their bathrooms since it will not rust.

We have been in the middle of a complete bathroom remodel which is always fun. We have not had a sink for quite a while which means that we have not have a sanitary place to keep out toilet paper for a long time. That is why I was beyond thrilled to have recieved the Better Homes & Garden - Oil Rubbed Bronze Standing Toilet Paper Holder. I have never owned a free standing toilet paper holder before, I always assumed that it would easily get in the way, not to mention it is simply another thing to clean and sanitize. I was eager to use this product simply for cleanliness and safety of the toilet paper. This product is much heavier than I had imagined which means it is not so easy to be knocked over. We had already chosen oil rubbed bronze for all of our new bathroom fixtures so this will end up blending beautifully with everything else that we have already bought and installed in our new bathroom. The piece that you actually out the toilet paper on to flips upwards instead of a pressurized spring to fly across the room while changing the roll. Overall I would highly recommend this free standing toilet paper holder.
