Good packaging; great product

The first thing I noticed is that the bulb screws in pretty tight, so it'll need some effort to change the bulb without breaking it. It's very easy to assemble, the instructions are very specific. The globe is well made without sharp edges and doesn't look cheap. As far as I can tell, the cord can be shortened if needed. It dangles by the weight of it's own reinforced wire. You will definitely need to use a decorative bulb, because regular bulbs are unattractive and look terrible. The style of this is very versatile and attractive. It could easily be used for any style from farmhouse chic, modern metal and glass, classic, antique, or even industrial. The black surfaces are free of scratches or places of raw metal. I don't expect it to rust easily. It's a very pitchy black not a smoky or charcoal shade. Well made.
