Phlox Paniculata Flame is a dwarf selection of garden phlox that has a mounding habit. It grows 14 to 16 inches tall and blooms in late spring with clusters of sweet, five-petaled, pink blooms. The flowers are fragrant, making this a lovely plant for containers near a porch or patio or near the front of garden beds. It grows in full sun or partial shade and just about any soil type as long as it is moist and well-drained. Phlox is a pollinator attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Remove the 3 pack of plants from the box and water if the soil feels dry. For healthy plants that will bloom all season, simply water as needed. Feed plants with an all-purpose fertilizer in spring and fall at the base of the plant.
