It Holds More Weight Than Other Common Grab Bars.

This shelf with a grab bar gives you great stability while keeping your important items at a reach such as shampoo, bath sponge, and more. It is a great product. You have no idea how many times the items I have tried before to organize the bath top have always come off making it unsafe for every member of my family. Being place in the corner is a better and safer place than under the showerhead too. It says that supports up to 550 pounds. The marble acrylic shelf looks very fancy and modern. It feels strong and very stable. It is made of stainless steel with a matte black color over. If your family is like mine that at certain moments have 4 to 6 different kinds of shampoos bottles in the shower, I would suggest purchasing more than one shelf with a grab bar. Now even though I am very happy with this grab bar it was a very sad moment to find out I was not able to install it myself. This grab bar can not be installed with just a few screws like when you hang a picture frame or any other shelves. First, you need a special tool to cut through the tile and a drill that can handle the job. My battery-operated drill couldn't handle it. And my hands couldn't handle an electric drill. So, I had to ask my husband to install it for me. Once it was installed, I couldn't be happier. I love it.

Sturdy & Well Made

The BHG Matte Black Corner Grab Bar was easy to install in my tiled shower. It doubles as a grab bar in case you need help balancing or to prevent slipping while in the shower. It also has a large shelf to store various shampoo type bottles. It would have been nice to have a darker more earth colored shelf to match my existing tile but I am very satisfied with the unit.
