The lid's diameter is a little big therefore it doesn't fit properly, if you want the lid to fit all the way into the pot/kettle you have to push it into place then to remove gently pry it loose with end of wooden clothes pin or some non-metal object, I thought the pot might be at fault so I tried the 8qt. Better Chef Dutch Oven an it also has the lid problem. Other than that lid issue I have no complaints, it cooks well on stove top & cleans up quick an easy, if you using a flat surface electric stove some buyers have complained the pat doesn't doesn't sit level due the the raised Better Chef's logo that sits a little high in the center of the pots bottom, since I'm using gas I may keep mine if I get used to the snug lid, if not back to Walmart it goes. I never used in oven.
