Beautiful keepsake Afghans.

The Bernat blanket yarn is the only weight of yarn that I knit with now because of my arthritis. The Afghans that I knit with this yarn I give to my family and friends for birthdays and Christmas. The variety of colors that I can get in blanket yarn is wonderful, and the weight is just right to snuggle on the couch with. I have probably made over 25 Afghans with the Bernat blanket yarn over the last four years. I'm making one now with the Mallard Wood yarn.

I am so happy I found this big ball yarn at Walmart. It certainly beats walking into the store buying 4 or 5 small skeins a week. The most I ever found on the shelf at one time were 6 skeins. I use this yarn to make large blankets so these big balls are great.
