An inexpensive high quality PCP air rifle

With a leepers 3-9 x 50 scope I have been able to get 1.5" CTC groups at 100 yards. 800-865 fps out of the box. Up to 45 fpe with Benjamin 27.8 gr pellets. My best accuracy results were with jsb exact king diabolo pellets. I can't wait to take this hunting small game. A little heavy but with .22 lr scarce this might replace my rugar 10/22

Wow! this is a great PCP!

when I saw Wal-Mart put this on rollback I had to get one. I had been holding out for a while and for the price I had to jump on it. It was a fathers day present for myself and my wife was happy to oblige considering it was such a great deal. I have been shooting a .22 cal Benjamin titan nitro piston and to be honest.. I was getting frustrated. dealing with scope zero movement and recoil damage control was a constant issue. Also the loudness was not something I was fond of. the NP rifle was on the loud side. Enter the .25 cal synrod.. the answer to my prayers. my first pcp. Highly accurate, very quiet (I live in the suburbs) and serious power down range. I am using it for backyard pesting and shooting the Benjamin 27grn pellets. I can shoot a dime at 15-20 yards all day. I have it paired with a leapers 3-9x40AO mildot. and it is a great combo for what I have been doing at closer ranges. I haven't had the chance to try it farther distances but when I do I will be sure to have some tins of JSB diablo exacts on hand. I am looking forward to next spring when the ground squirrels are up... they are in for a BIG surprise. Shooting is once again FUN, not frustrating! big grins. =D Using the Benjamin hand pump it reads low compared to the rifle by about 250psi.. I use the rifle gauge to be on the safe side. Love this gun and the roll back price at Wal-Mart!

Benjamin Marauder .25cal gen 2

I've had time to test out the synthetic .25 cal Marauder and am very pleased with its accuracy! At 10 and 20 yards, 1/4" shots are easily obtained using JSB Exact pellets. At 30 to 40 yards I am able to group 3/8" shots. At 50 yards my groups are 3/4" ctc! (I mounted a UTG Leapers 3-12x44 accushot scope onto the rifle) After receiving the rifle, I pumped it up to 2750 psi, as shown on the rifle gage - the benjamin hand pump registered 3000 psi. I didn't know which was the more correct gage so I deferred using the hand pump's gage. After several days, no leaks! I've read how accurate the marauders were but was still somewhat surprised at its accuracy! The new generation .25 cal Marauder has a different bolt design. It also has 6 baffles and a spring instead of 4 baffles and an o-ring found in the older models. I was pleased that they also got rid of the ping sound when firing the rifle. The rifle is a little loud when fired. It might be at the threshold level for close neighbors. By the way, I weigh 158lbs, am 68yrs old, and am able to pump the rifle up to 2750psi. It does take all of my body weight with inertia to complete the task. I am very pleased with this setup! If you are looking into purchasing the Benjamin Marauder in .25 caliber, Walmart has the best pricing that I've found in the US!..I highly recomment it!!!
