Um, no, GHEE! Great stuff. I use this for general cooking/frying instead of butter because it's convenient, room temperature stable, and has a shelf life of what, millions of years if not kept open to air? Maybe a couple years if used periodically as I do, and no need to take out of the refrigerator to let thaw like butter, or worse, leave out at room temperature for it to go rancid. Pricey, but more cost-effective I think than alternatives like sprays and helps season cast iron pans.

Love ghee but strongly dislike plastic packaging. If we are paying the price for ghee, we are probably concerned about chemicals in the packaging as well. Just saying.
