Strict mattress requirement and difficult assembly
Pay close attention to the mattress requirement for the bed to work properly. The seller specifies “Full-size mattress for your reference: Maximum thickness: 7.9 inches (20 cm) Weight range: 74 lbs (33 kg) – 88 lbs (40 kg)”. This information isn't available on the listing. It is impossible to find a mattress that fits these requirements because most mattresses under 8 inch weigh about 40 pounds. I had to troubleshoot with opening and closing and ended up using cabinet clips and weights to keep things together. Everything was already assembled so I wasn't sure about retuning it. The bed came in 4 boxes. One box was missing and I had to report it missing and request a replacement. It was apparently returned due to damage during shipping and I learned this is pretty common. The seller was quick to respond. The assembly of the bed was very complicated which is to be expected . It's a 2-3 people job. Our room has a baseboard, so we had to buy an additional piece of wood to fill in the gap between the bed and the wall when anchoring the bed. We got it to work eventually. The bed is pretty and is functional in our space if you are able to find a mattress that fits.
