This Beer Stein features hand painted deep relief of the German "Coat of Arms". The side panels feature reliefs of famous landmarks in the cities of "Frankfurt", Berlin", "Koeln", "Munich", "Rothenburg" and "Heidelberg". The Coat of Arms are framed by banners with rich ornamental inscription of the national anthem verse "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit". The beer stein is issued as a hand-numbered Limited Edition with a 10,000 piece issue limit. The stein is topped an ornate, hand attached 100% lead free pewter lid. This beer stein holds 0.5 Liter (approx. 17oz), is approx. 10.5" tall and is hand-painted with a ceramic glaze in richly colored schema on blue and beige base color. Glaze is applied using multiple firing processes where the stein is fired for each individual color, creating a glass-like smooth and colored surface. This German Beer Stein is 100% food safe and can be used to consume beverages. Due to the thick and high quality material, the stein can be placed in the freezer prior to usage and will keep your beverages cool for a long time. Authentic German Beer Mug, produced by King-Werke in Germany. King, opened in 1949 in Germany, is one of the last remaining original stein factories which manufactures beer steins in accordance with century old traditions. All beer mugs are 100% "Made in Germany" using the finest "Wester Wald" clay. A very unique gift for any special occasion.
