It's a yes for me - built for ages 4-8

It's a yes for me, but with a heads-up. I bought this for my daughter, and while the listing says it's for kids up to 12, the box says ages 3 . Realistically, this is best for younger kids. I'd cap it at around 8 years old. The backboard is smaller than expected (definitely not as wide as a standard closet door), but the hoop and the balls are a good fit for small hands. I do appreciate that it comes with everything you need to assemble it: screws, nuts, and even a screwdriver. Just be ready to attach the hoop to the backboard yourself. The shot counter is a fun bonus and keeps kids entertained. Overall, even though it wasn't exactly what I thought I was getting, it still works well and I'd recommend it for younger kids.

Perfect for a teen or dad or office

I was overwhelmed at first but easy to follow directions, nicer then I thought it would be. Comes with 3 balls. The rim is actually metal not cheap plastic like the other ones we got. It has nice foam pieces on back so you do not mess it up when it hits the door. The hoop folds up to store flat, it has lights and sound and a shot clock . Such good quality. My son is 13 and he loves it. I would buy again for sure.

Fun hoops

It was easy to put together like 3-5mins and the balls were actually quick to pump up and had good bounce to them. The tools were kinda annoying to use but get the job done. This would be a good gift or something fun to use yourself. So far it seems to be good quality.
