Cut the fat off the beef!, Walmart butcher!

I bought this beef to make beef stew. It is the first time I have ever had to cut chunky fat off the pieces of beef. I didn’t like that at all! And since they charge per pound for the package; I paid for those pieces of fat the butcher left on! I cooked it in the crockpot 6 hours %26 added carrots, potatoes, peas, etc. The beef tasted very good.

Good Meat But Wrong Quantities

I always get this and have always loved it for my beef stew but when I was dividing up the meat I noticed that my scale said for the meat plus the baggies it was on my 1.8 lbs. The package says 2.42 lbs. I’m not sure if they included the tray in the measurement but if so that would’ve been nice to know. I paid for 2.42 lbs of MEAT but got 1.8 lbs.

Don't order meat! You don't know what you get.

Do not order this via delivery. Today is 10/25/2025. It's obvious the product is within its expiration time. However, this meet is both brown and green. The smell is absolutely nauseating and I haven't even opened the packaging. Why on earth would the picker select this? If you sent this to someone who literally didn't know any better, you're asking for them to get sick. Do better Walmart! Now, Walmart did refund me. That's appreciated. But what good is a refund doing me to cook my dinner right now? I do delivery for the convenience and the need for it “right now”. So, now, I'm gonna have to change the menu completely or go to the store and repurchase. My local Walmart has got to get it together. This is simply unacceptable.
