Mine had to be reprofiled,because you can't expect perfect blade geometry for a knife like this, at thisbprice point. If you don't know what that means, what are you doing shopping for a bushcraft knife? Go do some research. If you do know what that means, you probably already have to stones and skills to reprofile and sharpen a knife. This is tough steel but not indestructable. Take care of it, keep it sharp and relatively dry and it will last a lifetime. The lesther sheath is surprisingly nice for this pricepoint. And ignore that stupid guy on Youtube stabbing it through a car door. The sheathe holds the knife perfectly. He just didn't insert it all the way, that's why it fell out for him. If you want a good bushcraft knife without paying hundreds of dollars for custom hand made, this is the best deal there is. Just don't expect it to be easy to sharpen until you correct the profile. It has a micro bevel, that's how it's sharp out of the box with bad geometry. A good flat diamond stone 320 or 400 grit will allow to flatten the scandi grind and take away the microbevel to get a truly easy-to-sharpen-in-the-field bushcraft knifes
