Bazooka 8 inch DVC for my truck

Great sub. This sub gives a lot of sound and makes my whole system sound 100% better. I picked this sub to fill out lows that were missing in my system. I went with the Bazooka because it was the most efficient sub I could find. I didnt want to have to wire in another amp, so I went with this sub because I could get maximum sound for minimum power input. I am powering off of one channel of my 45 watt per channel Alpine amp and it hits hard and loud but still very clear. It sounds better than my buddies 500 watt Kicker powered sub that cost him 600 bucks and I only spent 100 on this sub. Because this sub is very efficient and I was able to wire it down to 2 ohms using the DVC(I put in a jumper wire connecting + to + and - to -), I am getting tons of clean lows with only 45 watts. Amazing!! Warning: The instructions are awful!! Search online for how to wire/install this sub. The huge instruction booklet is not only worthless but wrong. Do not follow the instructions or you will not be happy.

Bazooka Tube

I purchased an 8" Bazooka Tube (BT8024DVC) from Walmart after an older Bazooka Tube was stolen from my truck. Upon checking the Bazooka website I noticed that they no longer made the older 6"model that was stolen from my truck, so I decided upon an 8" model. After checking around the web I discovered that Walmart not only sold it, but they sold it at the lowest price. So, I bought it. It sounds better than I could have imagined. I don't know the technical terms, but it hits really hard and with no distortion. What else can ya ask for? As far as the shipping...could have been faster, but not terrible. One cautionary note: When the box containing the Tube arrived at my house I noticed that the box was pretty beat up. I was nervous that I was gonna end up having to return a damaged/defective Bazooka Tube. Thankfully, everything worked out just fine.
