In some older homes the ceilings are higher and to replace a light bulb means getting out a step stool or ladder. As I get older, I don't feel as 'spry' or comfortable climbing up on something in the middle of a room. When a light burned out I was going to ask a neighbor to help me but what about the next time, and the next? I had seen items for removing and replacing light bulbs so I went online and found just what I was looking for at Walmart. I had several poles with screw tips so I thought one would fit the Bulb Changer I ordered and it did. Could anything be simpler or easier? No. Because I was able to stand directly under the light (rather than along side) it was even easier to screw into the light socket. The construction is practical and durable--the spring with holds the 'fingers' around the bulb is strong steel so it will last. This 'rating' asks if I would recommend to a friend. After my success with changing the first bulb I wrote several friends to do just that and told my next door neighbor he could borrow mine. This is worth the price and very easy to use. It's not a 'gimmick' like so many household things sold, this is a real useful tool.

Works well when you have bulbs out of normal reach.
