I am trying to replace a sausage I ate as an 18-year-old drinking beer (in the 60's). It was a castile brand sausage and had a different texture and taste. It was sold in a beer joints. I never saw it in a grocery store. This was in Kansas, I was drinking Coors (which I do not like now). Yours was good for a hot sausage but I wanted hot and spicy with a sausage texture not hot dog texture. They were good enough with a miller beer. I ate them all and am trying another hot sausage brand now. They are very similar to yours again no castile brand.
