Battery Tender 12V 1.25A Charger – 4-Step Charging, Reverse Polarity Protection, Spark Proof Design

Bought this unit for my niece. She is college bound and needs the assistance of a high quality, idiot proof charger. -- This one is perfect. It won't short circuit or spark if hooked up incorrectly. And it will keep her battery at full charge if used frequently....so, no more jump starting her car or needing help from a friend. --This unit will fit in a glove box or trunk without taking up much space, since it is super small. --The power it provides is a bit small, but that is what batteries prefer. Slow and steady charging without overcharging. Highly recommended for those that don't know much about batteries all the way to the perfectionist that knows way too much about batteries. I own the Tender Plus...which is bigger and charges faster...and love it. I charge multiple types of batteries and need a bit faster charge which is why mine packs a bit more punch. Essentially, they use the same programming so I know that the Jr was the right choice for someone that doesn't charge all that often but still needs an awesome and totally safe charger. Pick up a Deltran...you won't be disappointed. And Deltran's won't ruin your battery because they monitor how the battery is reacting.
