Came up quick!

I watered once a day in the evening and it sprouted in 5 days with no straw covering it. I did loosen the dirt before spreading seed and went back and mixed seed in with the dirt so the birds wouldn't eat it. Fortunately, there were no downpours during the 5 days, so it stayed in place. Today is day 8 and we are getting some rain. My main problem is keeping the cat out of the new green patches. I'm curious how it will do once I stop watering. I will try to do an update in about a month. Planted in SW VA. I'm excited to let my chickens out again. They have been cooped up while it is growing.

Great stuff

Good stuff. Wild bunnies and birds like to run around and eat and play in it. So happy to find it on Walmart. I use this outside my clover yard and it helps keep everything eating outside the fence.
