Barbie Skipper Babysitters Inc. Climb ‘n Explore Playground Dolls & Playset

A few months ago I applied to become a product tester for Mattel. I completely forgot all about it, until to my surprise I received an email to say that I had been selected to review the Barbie-Skipper playground playset. I received the product today and I was thrilled. The product is made to an excellent quality and it is very colourful so it is very eye catching. The product comes with 2 dolls and due to the design of the playset, there are a variety of ways to play with it. There is a swing for the smaller doll to sit in as well as a rope ladder and a slide. There are small blocks built into the frame of the playset which can be twisted around and there is also a steering wheel that the little doll can play with. It also comes with a little sand box which includes a small tub of real sand, a bucket and spade and small plastic animals to make sand animals, so there is a real sandpit experience for the dolls. This playset is a lovely small scale replica of a real playground and it is a lovely role play product that any child will be excited to play with. It does come with some small parts such as the toys for the sandpit so it wouldn't be suitable for young children under the age of 3. All in all, I think this is a fantastic product and would love to extend this Barbie range for my child. I would definitely recommend this product to any of my friends with young children.

loved everything about the item itself, however it was not packed very well for shipping. The box arrived crushed on one corner and the paper was torn on the bottom. The contents were not damaged but it would be a little awkward if I were giving it as a gift. The item itself is just as pictured and I love the fact Skipper can bend and sit. Play sand and toys will be lots of fun.
