Exquisite Doll

She just arrived and blew my mind! This doll is a succesful return to the days when box presentation was part of buying a high-end Barbie. Barbie got away from that for a while, but it was a pleasure to see that box presentation on Princess Leia met the level of detail and artistry that was put into the doll herself. Seeing Barbie as Leia is the doll I've been waiting for basically my whole life as a collector. Even for a serious collector, paying this much per doll is a lot to ask, but I'm glad I risked it on this Star Wars series. The hair, makeup, and clothing are just exquisite.

Gorgeous doll!

This doll is gorgeous. The person who took of stars off on the prior review obviously wasn't paying attention when they ordered it/or didn't order it, It is not supposed to look like Carrie Fisher. This is a BARBIE x STAR WARS Collab as a homage to Princess Leia the character. So Barbie as Princess Leia. The doll is stunning, the box is heavy duty and a well worth it piece. Also thank you to Mattel for the care that went into packing and shipping her. Top Notch!

Leia is amazing!

I had high expectations and they were exceeded. I received the Leia Barbie today -- a couple of weeks early -- and am SO impressed with the doll and the packaging. One reviewer noted her face is not Carrie Fishers and, while I agree, there is a likeness and I don't think, based on the description of the collection, that is what was intended. Also, if you zoom in on the picture provided on the website, the face looks exactly as pictured. Clothes, hair, and accessories are all excellent quality. Barbie did a fantastic job and I cannot wait to receive the other 2!
