Top of the Line Protection
The Tripplite Protect It! works well for any application: from large appliances to little desk stuff I plug into it. It also has an audiable alarm so if it stops working, I can hear it instead of finding out I didn't have it when another surge comes along.

Interesting fact, this unit does not get hot while connected, regardless of how many outlets you use at a time. I bought two because I needed the coaxial connectors to protect two expensive LED screens at home, cable boxes and audio components. Surge ang lightning are common in my area.
