I live in chronic pain 24/7 after having ten lumbar surgeries %26 two neck surgeries ended up paralyzed below the waist in stage 4 kidney disease %26 suffer with seizures %26 migraines you can say pain is part of my daily life. I use the Aleve caplets every day and can honestly tell you that as far as OTC meds go Aleve is the only one that works to even touch my chronic pain I have tried every kind of OTC available but always go back to Aleve granted I have to take more than the recommended dose more often than suggested but it's worth the risk for the relief it gives me. It does not take away the pain it just calms the worst part of it allowing me to relax. I fractured 2 vertebrae in my back. I take Aleve in between my prescribed pain meds. When they wear off too soon. Aleve gets me through those times. Aleve Also helps with my nerve pain from a failed surgery on my back. I took too many goody powders for too long and they destroyed my stomach. Aleve works as well and doesn't give me stomach pain.
