Glad I purchased this wifi smart thermostat from Walmart. Almost the same model as I have in my 20 year old house but with the wifi smart feature. My son who is great with electronics put it in in like 10 minutes, and then I followed the directions for wifi, and worked immediately. will be great on trips and I can track the inside house temperature when traveling. thanks for a great product Honeywell

Good thermostat from a known company

I already own this same model for our upstairs thermostat. The downstairs thermostat failed so, I bought this to replace it. That allows me to use the same app for both. Linking them to WiFi is a bit tricky but, it only has to be done once and then it works great.

Easy to connect. I was aware it needed a C wire, which I have. I wouldn't have it any other way as I don't like thermostats requiring batteries. Install took a few minutes, took about 10 minutes to hook to internet. Had a connection issue that was simple, but not totally obvious, although I don't remember the specifics. As for the programming, I don't even try since I am home all the time. Between the set hold button, and not enabling programming, it has been rock solid 68 since installed 3 weeks ago. Remote funtionality work fine. For 60 bucks, its hard to beat.
