Three easy ways to quickly block unwanted numbers.

Put in the batteries. Connect phone line to base. Plug in all of the chargers. Set the time on one. Your done. Block calls by hitting the block call button before, during or after a call. Enter number of call to block manually. There are a lot of other features that I haven't tried yet. Sound quality is good. A voice reads the Caller ID out loud. I'm not annoyed by it yet, but I think the voice can be turned off. Sometimes it's funny to hear how it tries to pronounce nonsensical abbreviations. I've blocked about 15 numbers so far. The phone doesn't ring so much any more. When you check the recent call history it shows you who tried to call even if the number was blocked from ringing. These are great phones. I got the set of 5.

Great sound and excellent features

My new Panasonic phone system has been installed for a month now giving me time to evaluate the performance and features. The sound is great. Crisp and clear. Not sure why several other reviewers rated the sound quality as poor. I am a little hard of hearing and have no issues with the sound clarity or volume. Installation was snap compared to the AT&T phone system that I replaced. The Panasonic handsets come pre-paired which makes installation and setup a breeze. I was able to install the whole system in 10 minutes. I am not the most technically astute person by any means. It was a snap navigating through the features and menu on either the base station or the handsets. The menu and controls are super intuitive and easy to figure out. Panasonic really did their homework when they designed this phone. Navigating through menu options is a snap. One of the most important features to me is being able to read the display. I have poor eyesight. The display contrast is excellent allowing easy viewing of the display even in a brightly lighted room. I have no problem reading the display even when the display backlight is off. The battery life on the handsets appear to be fine. I used the phone for a 30 minute call and the battery level indicator did not budge off of fully charged. One feature that I really like is that the phones use AAA rechargeable off the shelf batteries. These batteries are now cheap and easily obtainable. The phones come with batteries. The Panasonic phone system has many features. Three features that I find particularly useful for me is the one button call block feature. This allows you to block "robo calls" etc. with the push of a button. You can block up to 300 numbers. The phones can be used as a room to room intercom system. This feature works very well. Some folks may find this useful. I really like the audio caller ID feature. The phone will announce who is calling between the first couple of rings. The ID will also appear on the display as well. I am very pleased with the performance of my Panasonic phone system thus far. No quirky issues. Performance is solid and straightforward. I highly recommend this system. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Got Everything We Hoped For.

The phone has five handsets so we can use them all over the house. And the handset also works in the detached garage, which surprised us and is a great convenience. It's easy to program (and written instructions come with the phone), and the screens on both the handsets and the answering machine are very easy to read. The ring options are numerous and pleasant. I love the BLOCK CALL button program; it's already in heavy use against robocalls. What the utility companies aren't doing to help stop robocalls, Panasonic is!
