Worth the money, definitely

The bulbs themselves look very nice. The light (2700k) is very close to incandescent bulbs'. Even I hardly use the 5000k feature this bulb offers but it's nice to have options. Just in case I need bright white light sometimes.

Great bulb with special features

We use these in hanging fixtures over our kitchen island. They are clear bulbs for glass fixtures. These specialty bulbs also have a little knob by which you can select warm yellow light, or brighter white light. We ususally stick to the bright er white light because our kitchen is large. But both yellow and white are pretty light. Soft and not glaring. I was happy to find these at WalMart.
