Peerless Single Handle Bathroom Faucet in Brushed Nickel P136LF-BN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this faucet in chrome finish. This model came with a drain assembly. I like the chrome finish it matches my other plumbing fixtures and the chrome frame on my bathroom mirror. Obviously I wanted to install this myself and save a $100 or so on installation. This faucet is good quality and easy to install. It comes with instructions for removing your old faucet and installing the new faucet. Plus there is good information included about the handle assembly if you need to do maintenance later. (And something I have learned over the years – a faucet that is easy to install is usually easy to repair - if necessary.) After getting the sink cabinet cleared and removing the old faucet and prepping the sink it only took less than 30 minutes to get this faucet, drain line and pop up stopper installed. I was able to use my existing water lines. When installed the faucet handle pivots smoothly for hot and cold water and turns on and off perfectly. There are no drips or water held back in the aerator. The pop up lever pulls up firmly and the pop up stopper holds or drains the water perfectly. All and all the faucet feels very durable. I have a single handle faucet in my kitchen but I hadn't installed a single handle in a bath before. In the past I did have a plumber that worked for me suggest using this type of faucet for the bath for ease of maintenance and repair. I have a newer style basin sink I put this faucet on and it looks modern and nice with the sink and the other fixtures. I think the faucet is very good quality and it is backed up by a good warranty. I don't expect to have any maintenance issues and I wouldn't hesitate to install another one or recommend this faucet.
