It utilizes the same locking zero frame contact ratchet arms to secure the front wheel of the bike by the tire, making it safe for carbon fiber frames. The tire trays work with tires up to 5 Inch wide. Finally, with the optional Ramp and Bridge (sold separately), you can make loading heavy, larger bikes a breeze by simply rolling them up into place on the rack.
