Super picky urinary diet ragdoll cat can safely eat this. I did my research and was feeding him the purina one urinary wet food version which she didn't like too much . they're not really a fan of the urinary wet food to be honest this is not my first cat with this issue. So I did my research on what the ingredients are to be avoided in the average cat food that can exacerbate urinary conditions and cats, and I always read the ingredients for that reason and this actually checks out well . Besides the fact he loves it and begs me for it , which is really odd cause I'm so used to fighting with him over making him eat his wet food. He loves wet food but he's like really hates the prescription stuff ! i also mix in a tiny amount of cranberry extract *speciffically* "D-Mannose",( otherwise toxic if name incorrect!) just to be safe, rather than sorry. i have always been prom to urinary issues as it runs in my family, and I take the d-mannose daily or I start to have issues. so its just generally a good preventative measure. I gotta say I'm really glad I finally found this food, it can be really hard to find decently priced quality wet food that is safe for a urinary animal to eat . It's really a crapshoot. I got to the point where I was hand making his food for a while, which gets really tiresome and he hates waiting for it lol. it also cost more to make because you have to put more stuff in it to get them to eat it. so this one is a win-win just make sure that you add the cranberry ingredient i mentioned above. I ordered the human grade version of that supplement and I open up the capsule and I put just a small amount and every can. you have to be careful to not put but just a tiny amount because cats livers reach toxicity levels pretty quickly and even if it's something they can take safely you overtaxing their liver when you put too much much of a thing into their food, which can cause issues later on

I have an older cat that has difficulty gaining weight (oh to have that issue!). She is active and all but it seems the more she eats, the more weight she loses. Doctor suggested some dry food that was high protein as well as some that was grain free. Poor kitty cannot really eat the hard dry food so I opted for this high protein food for her. It smells like real food and looks like good food (some cat food just looks like stuff I would throw away) and she has loved it so far. If she doesn't begin to gain weight, I will try the no grain food to see if that helps. As long as she is eating it all, I am happy. She laps up the gravy first and then dives in to the meaty chunks.
