Very Functional - Sketchy Appearance and Finish
I just installed the Doux Chrome. It sort of looks like a toilet flush handle. The push/on to start shower flow exposes the plastic pull open valve stem and doesn't present a finished appearance like the Monticello Posi-temp it replaced. I wouldn't have bought it if I had understood the on/off appearance. My Moen kitchen faucet has a similar on/off push/pull flow system, but there are no exposed "working" plastic stems exposed and the presentation looks much more finished.
