HART 40-Volt Brushed Jet Fan Blower (No Battery Included)

The 40v fan blower kit made by Hart, is an awesome leaf blower with fantastic power and versatility! As a petite older woman, I found the Hart Blower to be easily maneuverable, excellent blowing capacity and the included battery and charger base of good quality and long lasting charge. I was able to easily blow leaves from between the rocks on my French drain. The blower is even attractive and I enjoy using it, looking forward, actually, to next week's yard work!

I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free HART TOOLS 40v Cordless Turbo Fan Blower Kit to review. The blower came at a perfect time because Spring is finally here and with that, we have the job of cleaning up the yard and patio areas of my home. The blower comes with a 40V Lithium Ion Battery and charger. The blower itself is 32” long. Together with the battery attached it is a little over 8 lbs. For storage I can remove part of the tube if needed by just pressing a button. The charger itself is 5” x 3” and is quite compact but it displays a lot of information. It has a heavy-duty cord with a larger plug in box to plug into my outlet. The first thing I did after unpacking my blower was to read the instructions because every type of tool has different things to follow. The directions are easy to read complete with pictures, and easy to follow and complete. The charger lights up when plugged in and has LED lights that tell me which phase the charging is in. The lights also let me know if I haven’t positioned the charger on top of the battery correctly. The charger plugs into the batter on the top of the battery so I can easily see when the battery is charged and ready to go. The battery itself is large. It is 7” long by 3 ½” wide and 3 ½” thick. The prongs from the charger slip into the battery at the top. The battery has a large blue safety clip that locks it in place on both the charger and on the blower. Operating the blower was very easy. Under the handle of the blower is a large trigger switch. The trigger is long and wide enough to comfortably squeeze with 2-3 fingers. It is both the on/off switch and regulates the speed. Being able to adjust the speed by just squeezing it anywhere from lightly to all the weigh down lets me control how fast the air blew and made it really easy for me to go from a lighter blast of air to a heavy blast of air in seconds. I found that the blower is evenly weighted to hold, and I really liked that I could control the speed without having to flip a switch or dial. I cannot say for sure how long the battery runs because it of course will vary depending upon how long I use it and at which speeds. I was able to blow off the leaves and debris from my patio, sidewalk areas, my extra parking slab, and my yard areas and it still had power. Clean up of the blower is also very easy by just wiping if off with a dry, soft towel. I always wear ear and eye protection when using any outdoor equipment that can throw or blow things. The blower is a little louder than a standard household upright vacuum cleaner. The HART 40v Cordless Turbo Fan Blower did a great job helping me to get my yard and patio area cleaned up for Spring.
