It is light weight and you don' t have a pull cord. I hate pull cords because as things age, they get harder and harder to start and you get too tired to even try after awhile. It also uses the same battery as our weed wacker that we purchased from Walmart back in the summer so we can have one battery charging while using the other. WE LOVE IT.

A time saving pleasure to use.

It is very light, surprisingly powerful, and pleasantly quiet. Rather than use a traditional broom on the hardscapes around the house and pool area, which took about an hour, I now use the B&D 40-volt Sweeper and am done in 5-10 minutes. Its less like a tool, and more like a toy, meaning --- it definitely does the work, but its actually fun to use. I'm not even using anything close to full power either. Highly recommend.

great lightweight blower

I bought this blower when my older Weedeater brand 20v blower's bearings wore out after about 5 years. This blower, while being very close to my previous blower in regards to weight, has a similiar charge time (approx. 35 minutes) but is more powerful and a longer run time between charges. I like having a choice to use this blower in either more powerful mode and more battery life mode. This Black & Decker blower, being a 40v instead of just a 20v i presume, has a battery life of between 30 to 45 minutes, almost twice the battery life per charge of my previous blower. Overall a great blower for the price!
